Hollywood executive and legendary Marvel Comics Creator Stan Lee was presented the Key to the Las Vegas Strip from Clark County Commissioner Larry Brown in a ceremony in Las Vegas on November 18.
“I don’t think it will fit in any locks, but I’m going to carry it with me and wherever I want to go, I’m just going to hold it up and I’ll say – see, you gotta to let me in!- and I’ll see what reaction I get,” Lee said, after receiving the key.
Lee was in town launching his “Respect” initiative pin at the Marvel Avengers S.T.A.T.I.O.N. retail store, and arrived to the attraction in grand style – up the Las Vegas Strip, escorted by Black Widow and S.T.A.T.I.O.N. agents.
“It was a career highlight for many of us to have Stan visit Marvel Avengers S.T.A.T.I.O.N. and launch his Respect pin with the city. We took his creations and Marvel’s cinematic universe, and brought it to life for fans from around the globe and we’re thrilled he enjoyed his time with us,” said Ron Tan, CEO/President of Victory Hill Exhibitions, the creators of the attraction.
